Natures Herbs Maca Power Review

Natures Herbs Maca Power

I've tried a few different brands of maca, and to me this is the only one that seems to give results that I can actually feel. Effective, and very affordable also. Definitely worth trying if you are a maca fan...

Soyjoy All Natural Baked Whole Soy and Fruit Bar 12 ea Review

I read the other reviews, especially the one who tried it and tossed it. Sorry they didn't meet your nutritional needs. But for a person who can't eat other nutrition bars because of gluten intolerance or Celiac disease these are the best thing that happened to us. I can carry these in my purse and when I go somewhere where others are eating a donut with their coffee or tea, I can pull this out and not feel left out. The blueberry ones also taste good. My favorite were the apple/walnut ones but I can't seem to find these anymore.

Mastey Enove Sulfate-Free Shampoo Volumizing Creme with thickening action for fine & delicate hair (32 oz) Review

Mastey Enove Sulfate-Free Shampoo Volumizing Creme with thickening action for fine and delicate hair (32 oz)
Average Reviews:

I purchased this with the Mastey Frehair Conditioner and am very impressed. My hair is much softer and shinier since I began using them. Additionally, both my husband and I have areas on our scalps that have thinning/thinner hair... these products have added such volume that the thinning isn't as visible. I've tried many other brands of volumizing shampoos/conditioners (Aveda and less expensive ones, too), but they don't even come close to these Mastey products.

this is the best stevia you can get. no after taste. It has a honey like taste to me. I transfer it into little squeeze bottles, one for my purse and one for work.

Nature's Way Organic Coconut Oil, 16 Ounce Review

Nature's Way Organic Coconut Oil, 16 Ounce
Average Reviews:

After reading several of Bruce Fife's books (and they were wonderfully easy-to-read for the non-scientific type), I decided to give coconut oil a try to help with losing weight and getting my blood sugar under control. As a non-medication taking, recently diagnosed diabetic, I want to try whatever natural remedies I can find to stay off insulin and other diabetes meds, in addition to meds for cholesterol, etc. I tried taking a teaspoon or two with meals and a teaspoon btw meals and my blood sugar numbers were noticeably lower the same day. (Fife says the suggested dose is 3-4 tbs/day). The taste of this brand is fantastic, light and creamy with a delicious coconutty taste! I love coconut so I was able to eat it right from the jar, but I also tried it spread on a Wasa Crisp bread--WOW, what an easy way to get MCFAs into your diet! I will definitely be using this instead of any oils for all my cooking needs (except a little EVOO mixed together with this for salad dressing.) Also, I'm using on my skin and it feels really soft, plus you also get the internal benefits from using it on your skin! GREAT PRODUCT!

Health Support Coconut Oil Diet Review

Health Support Coconut Oil Diet
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I used to have EXTREMELY bad cramps during my time of the month. When I say EXTREME, I mean cramping so bad that I would have minor blackouts. My mother-in-law suggested I take some organic virgin coconut oil and I took a tablespoon of it, however it didn't taste good at all. It did make my cramps go away for that entire day. So my wonderful husband went out and bought me some of these capsules from the health food store, I was kind of skeptical b/c he paid $20 for it, but I thanked him and started popping the suggested amount, 3 caps, 3 times a day.
Since the caps have a small amount in each cap, you have to take that many to get it in your system. The first month I took them, the cramps subsided to just enduring slight pain in the morning on my first day. The second month I didn't experience any PMS symptoms and even less pain on the first day. The third month I experienced NO PMS and NO PAIN through my whole 7 days. I've heard it is good for lowering your cholesterol and help maintain weight amongst other things. I'm just happy they made my cramps go away.

Doctor's CarbRite Diet Sugar Free Bar, Toasted Coconut, 2-Ounce Bars, 12-Count Review

Doctor's CarbRite Diet Sugar Free Bar, Toasted Coconut, 2-Ounce Bars, 12-Count
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The "CarbRite Toasted Coconut Bars" are a good choice for those seeking low carb snacks. I have tried several different types of the CarbRite bars and the Toasted Coconut is my favorite. Being a type 2 diabetic, I am always looking for low carb products that taste good. Here are my observations:
Pros:
+ Good Tasting; these are not candy bars and the coconut flavor is subtle, but they taste much better than most other "low carb" bars I have tried
+ Low Carb; only 2 NET carbs, but a lot of the other carbs come from Maltitol (see "Cons", below)
+ High Protein; 18g per bar
+ Very Filling; unlike a lot of other low carb snacks, these bars are actually fairly filling (likely due to the high protein content)
Cons:
- Contains Maltitol, which can cause "gastric distress" in some people - start of with small amounts if you don't know it will affect your system
Misc:
* 120 Calories per bar, but 60 of those are from fat
* Chewy Consistency
Overall, these bars are a satisfying low carb snack choice that have a good flavor and do not significantly impact my blood sugar levels.
Recommended! As I note above, there are several flavors made by CarbRite and I also like Doctor's CarbRite Diet Sugar Free Bar, Chocolate Brownie, 2-Ounce Bars (Pack of 12)
