Omron Hip Pedometer Review

Omron Hip Pedometer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this model over a year ago and the first one stopped functioning after two or three months. I received a replacement from Omron (they wanted to collect a "shipping and handling" charge that was almost the the same as the price of a new one, but I refused to pay it). The replacement worked for a few months, and then it stopped working too. The screen worked, the low battery indicator was not activated, but it just stopped counting steps.
I like the concept of a pedometer and this model is simple and easy to use, with a clear display and easy scrolling of step counts for the past seven days, but if you want a product that will last, I suggest you avoid this model and perhaps avoid Omron entirely, as I expect most of their models use the same basic design.

I can only say that my combo of multi-vitamin, B-Complex and Omega-3 fish oil keeps my engine running for the day. The Omega-3 fish oil smells ever slightly, you almost have stick your nose in the jar and inhale for it to bother you.

TruNature Ginkgo Biloba with Vinpocetine, 60mg (250 Softgels) Review

TruNature Ginkgo Biloba with Vinpocetine, 60mg (250 Softgels)
Average Reviews:

I have taken Ginkgo Biloba with Vinpocetine 60 mg softgels for years with no problem. But the company must have changed their formula. Now the minute you open the bottle, you are assaulted by an obnoxious smell, so bad that one of my family members gagged. In about 60 seconds the odor from the open bottle completely filled the room and we had to leave. The odor smells like dirty toilet. Bought another bottle with a different expiration date and lot number. Same result. I will never buy this product again.

Qunol Ultra High Absorption All Natural Liquid CoQ10 100mg 60-Servings Review

Qunol Ultra High Absorption All Natural Liquid CoQ10 100mg 60-Servings
Average Reviews:

The artificial flavors are Ethyl vanillin, Polysorbate 60 and Sucralose. Ethyl vanillin is a synthetic (a.k.a. man-made) chemical additive used to enhance the flavor of vanilln; vanillin is a naturally occuring chemical that gives vanilla its flavor. Polysorbate 60 is created from petroleum. Surcalose is a sugar substitute (a.k.a. an artificial sweetener).
I would have given this product more stars as it has a sweet, creamy orange taste to keep you motivated to continue using the product, and I've been using this product for approximately a month and it does provide more energy and it helped me to get rid of a cold, but it contains a few artificial ingredients. The website I purchased this vitamin from listed all of the health benefits of the product but they did not show the back of the bottle for customers to see the list of ingredients, or else I would have purchased a CoQ10 that did not contatin any artificial ingredients.

ZOIC Nutrition Drink, French Vanilla (Pack of 24) Review

ZOIC Nutrition Drink, French Vanilla (Pack of 24)
Average Reviews:

~
Here is a comparative of the Nutrition Facts showing ZOIC first on the left and Slim Fast Low Carb second on the right:
Calories: 110 - 190
Calories from Fat: 10 - 80
Saturated Fat: 0.5g - 1.5g
Trans Fat: 0g - 0g
Cholesterol: 5mg - 15mg
Sodium: 230mg - 260mg
Potassium: 230mg - 550mg
Total Carbohydrate: 5g - 6g
Dietary Fiber: 3g - 4g
Sugars: 1g - 1g
"Net Carbs:" 2g - 2g
Protein: 21g - 20g
The vitamins/minerals are somewhat similar in these two drinks and can be found on the Nutrition Facts on the cans. The biggest difference is that Slim Fast Low Carb has about 73% more calories and 70 more Fat calories per drink.
The taste, which I was concerned about when I order my first case of 24 drinks, is similar with the main difference that the Slim Fast Low Carb has a smoother, creamier texture. I experimented with adding about 80 calories of cream to a ZOIC drink and it definitely acquired a smoother, creamier texture. The overall taste of both drinks, in my opinion, is a good taste; but not a great taste. I would give these products a 4.5 rating if I could.
The Slim Fast Low Carb drink with its extra 70 more calories from Fat seems to satisfy my hunger perhaps 30 minutes longer than the ZOIC drink (without any cream added). ZOIC's package states "meal complement & snack replacement" not a meal replacement; in other words, it seems logical that one would add a small portion of other healthful food to make it a meal.
Both drinks refrain from adding any sugar or sugar alcohols (make sure you are comparing Slim Fast "Low Carb" and not other Slim Fast drinks which do have sugar added). Both drinks are free from Trans Fat.
I like to use both drinks to give me variety in taste and calories. The ZOIC drink at only 110 calories is a good choice when I want less calories and less fat calories; perhaps, when a planned meal time has to be pushed back in time by a couple of hours. If I need something to skip a meal, then I will usually choose Slim Fast Low Carb.
Both of these "Low Carb" drinks are good to have on hand in the refrigerator, so you can choose 110 or 190 calories versus some other super-sized 500 plus calorie item that may be in the refrigerator too.
