Along with other supplements, taking GTF chromium has helped me manage my blood sugar (I'm not diabetic) and also helped lower my cholesterol a small but significant amount. Remember, chromium picolinate should not be taken because it has been implicated in higher genetic mutation rates in at least 2 studies. So GTF is a preferable form as would be polynicotinate.
