It has your BCAA's and your Creatine (Pyruvate I think ? )..and some other stuff... so all you do is keep watering down the solution, to have a constant supply for your whole workout..and a scoop after...doesnt taste too bad, lasted about 4 weeks since I didnt take it on rest days (The weekend)...Ive gotten bigger, but I used this during a new program and some other supplements...so cant say if its this.
In summation, makes it easier to get your BCAAs (they call them AARM - Amino acid blend) and Creatine (Called Crea-Charge)...didnt notice anything about Heat Shock aminos...

Xpand Post with Shaker Review

(More customer reviews)I've been using this as a post workout drink for a few weeks now. It's been fantastic. From a recovery standpoint, I've used it along with my P90X program instead of the P90X drink. It's got the same carb to protein ratio and all of the other good stuff you need. Next day soreness reduction is what I have noticed the most, as well as increased energy over all. I didn't use it for a couple of weeks and noticed a big difference.
As far as the Lemonade flavor, as with any type of supplement, don't expect anything amazing. It IS lemon flavored...sort of an "industrial" lemon taste, and not really lemonade like. But it tastes pretty good and, when cold, is refreshing after a workout. It's not thick at all (don't think protein drink) and mixes much better and more quickly than I thought. Only a little bit of grain left when mixed with cold water. I haven't tried the other flavors - fruit punch and blue raspberry, I think. My next order will probably be one of those.
You could try and make your own recovery drink - chocolate milk, apple juice, whatever. Those are all good. But to get the right ratios, plus the needed aminos, creatine, etc. it's much easier (and probably cheaper overall) to use a good recovery drink like this.
**one note. Don't buy this just because you get the included mixer bottle. They are really cheap bottles and mine broke the first time I tried to use it. I hope they just sell this without the bottle soon.

Chin-Up/Sit-Up Bar Review

(More customer reviews)It works fine once you get it installed, though I've only used it for sit-ups so far. There are 4 brackets (metal cup things) that you have to screw into a door-frame---2 low, 2 high, so you can switch from sit-ups to chin-ups. The foam doesn't slide easily, but if you try hard enough you can get it to move. I recommend using a hammer to start the screws, then a phillips-head screwdriver (the + one) to finish putting the screws in. There are 3 screws per cup, plus washers. It is kind of a lot to do just to install a bar, but when you're done at least it's there and it works. Make use of it =)

(More customer reviews)I have been using dymatize glutamine for four months and the results are great, my skin looks beautiful, skin conditions are a sign of leaky gut. I started seeing results after one week of using less than a 1/8 of a teaspoon (about 400mg - 500 mg) dissolved in a glass of water 3 times a day in between meals (an hour and a half to 2 hours after a meal or 30 minutes to an hour before a meal). Before I started taking glutamine I did some research, and found out that it gave acne to some people, constipation is another thing that could happen, I haven't experienced any side effects, I read that glutamine gets rid of excess ammonia in the body through the liver, so I guess that, if you have an overburdened liver that might lead to breakouts, I take milk thistle so that my liver function is fine, and drink more water to flush out the toxins and avoid constipation. You don't have to take loads of glutamine to heal your intestinal tract wall, I read that 1500 mg in separate doses of 500 mg is enough. It must be true because I can see the results. Acidophilus Bifidobacterium also help. Leaky gut syndrome is caused by many things for example candida overgrowth or any type of parasite really, drugs, alcohol, poor diet, so it is a combination of things you should do to heal your leaky gut, even having a good mental attitude helps. Look for anti candida diets and alkalizing diets.

This mandarin orange stuff tasted horrible to me, not sure if I got a bad batch or what but it was awful. The fruit punch is still good however, and seemed to be effective in terms of gaining muscle mass and improving muscle recovery though it needs some time to kick in. I can't comment on the quality of this mandarin orange variety, I'd assume its just as good but the flavor is terrible.

Now I can see a big difference in my training. It does realy make a difference. I can see my self struggling in some parts of the excercise that I didn't use thsi product with before. I love it. The list of ingredients is: Glucose, Fructose, Sucrose, etc. Sucrose has to be split into glucose and fructose during digestion, and fructose has to go through the liver to be converted to glucose before the body can use it. This product appears to be 35% to 40% glucose instead of 100% glucose. Buyer Beware!

Valeo Foam Exercise Mat Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this mat to use with my P90X Workout DVDs. I wanted to use it as:
- yoga mat,
- padding for jumping jacks/running/lounges,
- ab work
It is ideal for ab work - it has a great thickness and the foam gives very good padding. But for the rest, it's not so good. For yoga, whenever I'm in a position that requires to stretch and press against the floor (like downward dog, for instance), the mat stretches with me, which is very frustrating. And it may be dangerous.
When I jump on it, it tends to move just a tiny bit, and the foam rubbing against the floor makes an awful, loud noise.
Plus, I used it while wearing my cross-training shoes, and my foot touched the mat while bringing a leg forward in a plank. It ripped it.
I would give it 2 1/2 stars, but it's not an option. It's a nice enough mat, but you need to use it for static stuff only, and probably not wear shoes with a substantial sole.
