(More customer reviews)I have just started to use this. On the package, they suggest, in the beginning brewing 1 tea bag in 3-4 cups of water so your body can get used to the product. When I did that, I found it didn't work for me (I must have a stubborn system)so I just use 1 teabag per one cup of water and by the next morning, I am ready. I do not have any cramps with it but you know, full well when you have to go and it does get rid of a lot of waste. And another good thing is that you don't go all day. Once you have that nice bathroom visit in the morning, you are good for the rest of the day. Good stuff.

(More customer reviews)This is my favorite of the new lot of Slim Fast 200-calorie bars. If you're doing two bars a day on their 3-2-1 Plan, it's also a nice break from chocolate. (I like chocolate as much as the next person, but not always for breakfast.) The bar is moist and almost buttery -- like a pleasantly chewy/lightly gooey homemade granola bar. I think the previous poster was reviewing a different bar (this one has neither chocolate nor, to my eye, almonds). It's just granola, dried fruit, and a sweet white yogurt "icing" on the bottom. Yummy!

(More customer reviews)I recently bought a pack of these at the grocery store. Each one has 2 grams of carbs, and 15 grams of protein. It's a great way to start the day. It is good for anyone on the Atkins plan, or the Metabolism Miracle plan, both of which are very similar. (For anyone interested in getting healthier, feeling better, or losing weight, there is a thread in the Gold Box Forum under "Metabolism Miracle," on these diet/lifestyle change plans.)
The shakes are flavorful, creamy and good tasting. They are also filling. I would recommend these to anyone wanting a nice breakfast drink, or a pick me up any other time of day, such as the old afternoon lag we get when all the caffeine has worn off and we feel like a nap! It is great if you don't feel like doing a meal prep for yourself, too.
I do have to say the price is a bit steep here at Amazon. What I got was at Fred Meyer's (Kroger's) and they were $6-something for 4, with two more added as a bonus. So I paid about $1 each.

I drink a lot of water because it makes you thirsty, and still eat everything I like (breads, rice, beans, etc.) just very small portions. (More customer reviews)I like all the O Waters except for this one. I thought that this would be the best one because what is more classic than water with a slice of lemon? But they do not have the lemon/lime taste figured out and to me it tastes more like it was laced with lemon Pledge rather than a fresh lemon. There are many other flavors to choose from and for the money they are charging per a bottle, why drink something that you don't enjoy? So I don't buy the lemon/lime anymore.

(More customer reviews)These bars are a great alternative to a chocolate-coated protein bar, which are difficult to bring around with you in the summer (without leaving a mess). They have a good texture (a little chewy, but it's mimicking cookie dough!) and a very good flavor. They are a little too dense for me to eat the whole thing at once, so I always cut them in half. This still gives 12.5g protein, so I'm full for a couple of hours. I also like that it uses real sugar instead of a sugar-substitute. At the 1/2 bar serving, that's only 7.5g sugar. The wrapping suggests to microwave for a few seconds before serving, but I've always just eaten it as-is out of the package. Highly recommend.
