(More customer reviews)I've finally found the perfect sports drink! I needed something with electrolytes and amino acids without food colouring or excessive chemicals. Hello, Cytomax Natural! I tried the Cool Citrus (natural) first and it was... tolerable. I'm so grateful I only got the small bin, though. It tastes and smells excessively chemically-- yuck! But it worked fantastically and didn't make me sick so I could go through tons of it, even with the taste and smell being so-so.
However, Natural Tangy Orange is *delicious*. The taste is somewhere between orange Tic-Tacs and orange gatorade, although less gross than either of those. I really like the taste. Whereas I barely tolerated the cool citrus, I can't get enough of the orange! Good thing I ordered the large tub.
There are a few cons, however: cost and messiness. If they had a sale on this stuff or even offered free shipping I would jump on it in a heartbeat! it's just so expensive. =/ But since it works amazingly and keeps me going better than anything else I've tried I guess I'll have to keep buying it. Secondly, it really does get all over everything. If you have a small-mouthed bottle, you should probably invest in a funnel! I use a funnel to scoop the powder in (about 2.5 scoops for my 25 oz bottle), put the lid on, and shake it really good for about a minute.
It does what it says, and now that I've tried it for a while I'm hooked.
