(More customer reviews)I bought this because I was specifically looking for Panax ginseng, for an energy boost. I waved off the weight loss claims and the "all natural herbs" because I was just looking for ginseng with no additives and no preservatives. Well, this box has that. However, ginseng, no matter what it says in the title, is the smallest part of this tea. The first ingredient on the list is actually Cassia acutifolia Delile -- senna leaf -- followed by other senna variants. Senna leaf is a moderate purgative, so this tea is actually promoting a bulimic effect, especially if you have more than one cup a day as I was planning to do. I'm sure it does work for weight loss, if it's purging you! But you might want to know that before you buy it thinking it's *ginseng*.
