(More customer reviews)I began using Irvingia in April, 2010 after reading about its use to aid in glucose metabolism in a book by Dr Don Colbert regarding diabetes. It took about 14 weeks, before I saw results, but I have lost a total of 30 pounds in 7 months! This product, African Mango, is a bit expensive so I switched to 'Ultimate African Mango Extract' because it was half the price. I do eat a low carb diet and am maintaining about 1200-1500 calories as well. I also make sure I eat 3 meals a day..I don't skip meals this helps to speed up your metabolism. I had begun by using Integra-Lean Irvingia - VegCaps but switched to African Mango because it was affordable and then switched to Ultimate African Mango because it was even more affordable. I have to say I am very pleased by the results and will continue using Irvingia for weight loss..I want to recommend that you not give up... give it 14 weeks and see what happens. If it doesn't work after 3 months then quit using it.
