Not so much for post surgical patients as the carb is a bit high.
It can also be mixed with less water for a pudding, which can be warmed without curdling the protein.
Taste is superior, and mixability pretty good.
Shakes can be used entirely in place of food for weightloss.
A bit bulky for post-op protein supplementation, as there is only 14 g protein per packet.
