This product seems to be helping me lose weight. It does not bother me in any way. Oolong tea (tea bag-hot tea) generally helps you release water. Green teas are said to provide health benefits and increase metabolism.
The label panel advises adults to take 3 soft gels daily. There are 63 liquid soft gel capsules in the glass bottle (21 days worth). Other label info includes:
Green Tea Extract 495 mg
Matcha Green Tea Powder (leaf) 150 mg
Natural Caffeine 150 mg
Oolong Tea Extract 150 mg
White Tea Extract 90 mg
Asian Ginseng Extract 30 mg
Astragalus 30 mg
Brown Kelp 30 mg
Schisandra 30 mg
White Peony 30 mg
Omega 3 Fish Oil 1414 mg
Bioperine Complex 6 mg (black pepper and ginger extract)
also contains fish and soy.
I am NOT a medical professional but the green and white teas are supposed to be beneficial to your health (from what I have read), oolong helps you get rid of water, ginseng is supposed to give you energy, kelp is supposed to help with weight loss, omega 3 fish oil is supposed to have health benefits (based on my reading), so it sounds like a good product. In my case, I have found that liquid or gel caps seem to be absorbed faster and more effective than hard pills. I have been taking this product now for 21 days, have lost 9 lbs, and have had no problems. I am on-line now, ordering more.
What I do: I take 2 in the morning about an hour before breakfast. I actually take them in the car before I pull out of the driveway and I drink a 24 oz cup of Tsao brand, Zen Green Tea (no sugar) on the way to work. The green tea helps start me off with energy and wakes up my metabolism. When I get to work, I eat a simple breakfast. I take 1 additional soft gel about 45 minutes before lunch, then try to eat a salad or some veggies. I try to snack on fruit in the afternoon and finish the work day with about 1000 calories or less. That leaves me 200 or 300 calories for soup for supper. I try to avoid coffee (decaf or regular), eat healthy, and avoid added sugar, especially at night. I was recently told by a surgeon and diet specialist that you should avoid sugar after dinner because that forces your body to attack the stored fat. If you eat sugar, he said your body just attacks the sugar and does not get to the stored fat. I don't stick to 1200 calories on weekends but try to do it most days of the work week. It is working.
