(More customer reviews)This cream has the following primary ingredients:
L-arginine, choline chloride, sodium chloride, magnesium chloride, white oil, glyceryl stearate se, etc... It is a fairly stiff and somewhat waxy cream/gel.
The body uses L-arginine to make nitric oxide. As strange as it sounds, nitric oxide is a critical actor at the cellular level. One of its effects is to relax constricted blood vessels. When an l-arginine cream is rubbed onto the skin, the local capillaries absorb the l-arginine, relax and that portion of the body has increased blood flow and thus 'warms up'.
My hands and feet have some circulation issues which sometimes result in cold/numb toes and fingers. I've tried this cream and Swanson's Arginine Arousal Gel. 'Warm cream' seems much stronger than the Swanson product. I don't need to use as much. I've also tried swallowing arginine capsules. The full body effect provided by the capsules made my feet worse, but the Swanson's product and this cream let me wake up with warm and toasty feet.
Since I like putting this stuff on my feet every night, this product can get expensive. I've found that I can mix up my own cream from hand lotion and l-arginine capsules. The home made remedy works fairly well.
