(More customer reviews)A new 2010 introduction into the protein bar market, Optimum Nutrition delivers one of the best bars I've seen. Here's a quick look at important values from the Nutrition Facts:
Calories: 250
Calories from Fat: 25
Protein: 26g
Those values alone speak volumes. The Marshmallow Treat looks like an extremely dense rice-crispy bar. Texture is dense at first but softens (obviously). The bar is mostly the same with the exception of yogurt drops across the top to add diversity. Compared to my previous favorite bar (Clif Bar Protein Chocolate Mint), the texture is not as diverse or flavorful. That said, the taste is still good. This bar deserves 5 stars just for nutritional values, add in the simple ingredients and taste... What a package! I expect to see this protein bar grow in popularity as more become aware of its existence. Stay strong my fellow health nuts.
