I've found that for me, the best way to lose weight is to eat a small, low-calorie "meal" frequently- about every 3 to 4 hours or so. Looking for a good snack to fill my mid-morning "meal", I found this bar. It fits the bill because:
-its a good source of Omega 3's- which is heart healthy
-its low calorie- only 140 per bar
-has a decent amount of fiber- 4 grams
-has a sizeable amount of protein- 7 grams
I eat one of these bars everyday around 10:00 for a mid-morning snack and with the 7 grams of protein, I stay well-full until lunchtime, which for me is around 12:30 or 1:00. For those not in the know, protein stays in your stomach much longer than fats or carbohydrates and sooo.....you stay full longer!!
