(More customer reviews)I bought these scales for my father. He is 79 and has severe macular degeneration, so he cannot see much anymore. They work fine for him. The female voice is understandable and loud enough to hear. The speech is at a speed to understand fine. The response time from getting on the scales to when the weight is reported is slower than we expected but is acceptable.
