Emer'gen-C Bone Health Formula Review

Emer'gen-C Bone Health Formula

I began drinking Emergen-C products when my immune system took a dive right after starting medical school. I would get sick after every exam and be sick halfway through each of my courses, really annoying when you're trying to study and stay awake in lecture. This stuff seems to really do the trick for me, since after starting to drink it I haven't gotten sick at all during the entire 2nd semester and this semester was much more stressful than the 1st. No idea if it's just the placebo effect or if this stuff is actually working but whatever it is I'll take it. I've tried a few flavors and this is the yummiest so far. Plus this one has Vitamin D and calcium for bone strength which I'm hoping will help prevent osteoporosis later in life.

Relora Anti-Anxiety & Stress Relief, 250mg, Capsules - 60 ea Review

Relora Anti-Anxiety and Stress Relief, 250mg, Capsules - 60 ea
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been using Relora for two weeks, and have lost 4.2 lbs so far. I was reluctant to try this product, but a friend recommended it, and based on that (and the fact that the prices here on Amazon are so reasonable) I decided to order it and give it a try. I've been on points-based eating plan for awhile, and I'd lost over 50 lbs until I re-started college last fall (after retiring from a 32-yr career in high tech). I hadn't been inside a classroom since 1978, and the high stress of classes, papers, exams, etc. caused my weight loss to halt, and the increased exercise (stairs, hills, etc. and carrying around 20+ lbs of books) led to a gradual weight gain, despite religiously continuing my diet/exercise routine. Combine that with the fact that I'm past 50, and the old metabolism just isn't what she used to be.
I wasn't expecting much, but almost immediately I noticed that I was sleeping better and within a week I was feeling less "edgy" during the day. My eating habits haven't really changed much -- I was already eating pretty sensibly following the diet plan guidelines, points, etc. -- but some of the cravings have definitely disappeared. I used to crave a sweet snack in the afternoon and evening, and I find I just don't think about it anymore. This actually leaves me with more points to "spend" on healthier fruits, veggies, and protien.
I'm really not easily impressed, and tend to be HIGHLY skeptical of claims made for supplements. There's no such thing as a magic pill, at least not yet. Relora is NOT a magic pill, but if you're already watching what you eat, exercising regularly, and have hit a plateau, this just might help. I would never have believed it if I hadn't tried it myself, but I'm convinced there's something to Relora, and I intend to continue taking it as long as I continue to see results.

Futurebiotics - Pressur-Lo, 270 tablets Review

Futurebiotics - Pressur-Lo, 270 tablets
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I began looking for a blood pressure supplement over a year ago when my doctor started to be a pain and wanted me to see him for BP "checkups" a lot more often. He wouldn't renew my refills unless I did. Since I have been on a BP med for over 20 years and regularly check my own, I came to the conclusion that his requests for more checkups had more to do with keeping his diet rich with the likes of lobster and cracked crab, rather than some genuine concern that I was about to drop dead at any time. MY BP is what is referred to as essential hypertension, meaning its hereditary and rarely if ever gets cured. No matter what your diet or exercise program is. But that doesn't mean one is helpless to make it better. After he decided it was time we get better acquainted more often I set out to find a supplement that would possibly help me in taking less prescribed medication. I was quickly overwhelmed by the number of supplements that promise support in controlling blood pressure. I decided to do some homework and find out for myself what was out there as far as ingredients that could be relatively proven as to really helping. Herbs like hawthorn berry, juniper and cayenne popped up a lot. Minerals like magnesium, and spices like garlic and vitamins A and D among others turned up frequently as best bets. So I made a list of ingredients and doses and then painstakingly sifted through the web sites that listed all the ingredients in their supplements and compared them for the actual listing of the most mentioned herbs and such, as well as their quantities. I was actually very pleased to come to the conclusion that Pressur Lo was found to be the very best in both possessing it all, as well as having healthy quantities of all of them as well. I was pleased because Pressur Lo is one of he very cheapest supplements to be found anywhere. For my studies also concluded that price and advertising was absolutely no guarantee of anything as far as what is possessed in way of helpful ingredients. Simply put, Pressur Lo has it all, and is one of the most reasonably priced of any supplement of any kind I take. As far as my personal results with PL, I have to say that it may have made a significant difference in my BP over the last year. I must temper my success with the knowledge that I have also been eating better and exercising more as well. What true part of my excellent results can be actually attributed to PL alone I cannot say. But this I can promise. If you are either tired of keeping your doctor in Dodge Vipers, or just someone who is interested in self medicating with all natural supplements, either in addition too, or instead of prescribed meds, you will not find a more comprehensive supplement than Pressure Lo anywhere. And best of all it is probably cheap enough for just about anyone to afford. You have to take a lot of these. An average dose is 6 tabs per day. Trust me when I tell you however that ALL supplements have a similar recommended dose. 4 to 6 a day of anything is suggested. I really cannot recommend dropping ones prescribed med and taking PL alone. My experience with doing that was that it was too much too soon. I still need my meds, but I have successfully weened myself to half a dose a day in addition to the PL. I would suggest anyone trying this or any other supplement buying a good quality monitor to keep track of their BP as they experiment. Its a really good feeling to know you are helping a lot to control your own BP by natural means. And I highly recommend Pressure Lo to help you achieve that. One thing I can definitely promise is that PL will not hurt you. The worst that will happen is nothing at all. I am not a doctor and don't pretend to know as much as they do about blood pressure. But as far as a researcher here on the web or anyplace else, I am nothing less than a giant. Try Pressure Lo if you're ready or so inclined to experiment with supplements. They don't come any more complete...

Alacer Emergen-C Heart Health Review

Alacer Emergen-C Heart Health

I've always gotten the other flavours - raspberry, tropical, tangerine, orange... nice when you need a pick-me-up - and always great to hand out to droopy friends (and strangers too) who may have sniffles, or are just tired, or sick, and just can't cope. What a nice way to say you care ~ "drink this!! you'll feel better!"
Sure i take multivits and a plethora of herbs and stuff, but this is something so good to carry around with you - i always said the vitamin C turns the electricity on in the body ~now i have been reading scientific stuff that that's true! - no wonder i feel better after one of these fizzies. You get the pzazz right away. Also good thing first thing in the morning, but really, good anytime.
Black Cherry~ oh YUM ~ this reminds me so much of my favorite pop i used to drink when a kid - cherry creme soda.. only this is nowhere as sweet.
Just plop in glass of water - let it fizz, drink. I drink more water after, to rinse out my glass and get everybit, plus i figure i need the extra water anyway (i tried it in juice but it just foamed out all over the counter.. okaaayyy..).

Emergen-C Review

The minute I start feeling early symptoms of a cold, I start chugging this plus Echinecea supplements. Within a day or two, the symptoms are gone. If I'm already sick, I take this and the cold goes away faster. It tastes pretty good. You can make hot or cold drinks with it. I've only tried it cold and it's not grainy or gross at all. It's almost like a fruit flavored drink. I have friends who like to make it into a kind of tea and it works for them. So far, everyone I know who has tried this product has loved it.

Relax-All Wtih Phenibut-MRM Herbal Muscle Relaxer, 60 Capsules Review

Relax-All Wtih Phenibut-MRM Herbal Muscle Relaxer, 60 Capsules
Average Reviews:

I have had trouble sleeping for quite some time. I don't know WHY it works but Relax-All, not only drowses me to sleep, but it allows me to stay in a comfortable sleep through the night. I have shown Relax-all to a neurologist, an internist, and a cardiologist. One was concerned about a possible calcium-overdose (I learned later calcium supposedly helps with sleep -Remember the old remedy of warm milk? ) but all seemed to think the pills posed no danger and felt if it helped me sleep it was worth a shot. I won't say that I never have a night where my racing mind doesn't keep me up for a while but, thankfully, those nights are few now.

Emergen-C Multi-Vitamin Plus Daily Formula Fizzy Drink Mix 30 packets Review

Emergen-C Multi-Vitamin Plus Daily Formula Fizzy Drink Mix 30 packets
Average Reviews:

A couple of weeks ago I started to feel a cold coming on - sore throat, aches, etc. I took two packets of this product (a few hours apart to improve absorption) and the symptoms went away by the end of the day. The taste is okay - it is similar to cranberry juice but sweeter, and is flatter than the orange fizzy Emergen-C. If you require a multivitamin with minerals, I would suggest not substituting this item for "regular" vitamins - it is not very complete, and the nutrients are in varying amounts.

Cystoprotek Soft Gel Capsules, 120-Count Bottle Review

Cystoprotek Soft Gel Capsules, 120-Count Bottle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have been dignosed with Interistitial Cystitis recently, as of January 2008. It is also referred to as painful bladder spasms. I refused the bladder instillations due to intolerance of the procedure related to pain. I was started on Elmiron three times a day. This made my hair fall out and therefore had to decrease the dose to once a day. I heard about Cystoprotek through the IC-Network. I bought it and tried it. Three days later, I started feeling better and by 2 weeks I could hardly tell that I had this awful disease. Thanks Amazon for selling this medicine.

Interstitial Cystitis (IC), also called Painful Bladder Syndrome (PBS), is as bad as it sounds. While there is no known cure for this disorder, CystoProtek can help reduce bladder damage and pain, improving the overall symptoms in patients with IC/PBS.
Clinically Proven Effective IC/PBS is a chronic inflammation of the bladder that occurs more in women, but also affects men. Varying from fairly mild to extremely painful, symptoms can include urinary urgency, urinary frequency, nocturia and pelvic pain. The Interstitial Cystitis Association reports that recent data indicates there are more than 700,000 cases of IC in the U.S. For the hundreds of thousands whose lives are significantly impaired due to pain and the need to urinate excessively, CystoProtek was demonstrated in two clinical studies to be effective in reducing the pain and symptoms of IC patients.
Anti-Inflammatory Properties This natural oral dietary supplement comes in a soft gel capsule form. Cystoprotek is made with anti-inflammatory properties glucosamine, quercetin and rutin to help reduce bladder damage and pain, and glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronate sodium help replenish the damaged glycosaminoglycan (GAG) protective layer in the bladder. Chondroitin sulfate is one of the main components of cartilage and muscosa layers, forming the connecive tissue that holds muscles, nerves, and blood vessels together. Sodium hyaluronate is another component of protective tissue, including the GAG layer of the bladder, and is essential in the rebuilding process. Extracted from the saphora plant, rutin is a non-acidic natural flavonoid that adds additional anti-inflammatory qualities and liberated quercetin in the intestine, making absorption easier.
CystoProtek is not a cure for IC. At this time, there is no known cure for the condition. Additionally, it is important to understand that CystoProtek is not an analgesic. It may take three to four months to offer a relief of symptoms. In clinical study Cystoprotek was well tolerated by patients ingesting 4-6 softgel capsules per day for 4-6 months.
