(More customer reviews)I needed a high protein, low carb drink that I could use before and after weight loss surgery. I am not really into the shakes and just wanted something that I wouldn't mind drinking....and I am VERY picky! I have tried many different brands and this is the only one I can drink. To my surprise, this stuff actually tastes like grape juice! I would drink it even if I didn't have to, it is that good!
Now, it is sweet but I can't detect an aftertaste! I hated the Isopure ready made drinks (some were a bit tolerable). If you have to drink a lot of protein for awhile, you don't want to "fight" getting it down. With the ProtiDiet grape concentrate, you don't have to! I put ice and water in a big sports cup and then add 2 of the concentrate packages (so it is pretty diluted), and it's like drinking koolaid (but I get 30 grams of protein!). I also like the Wild Berry and the Orange. Didn't care for the Peach Mango (which is interesting since I love that combination usually in drinks).
