(More customer reviews)Several studies have indicated a significant improvement in athletic performance when athletes supplemented with a compound of branched chain amino acids-essentially what Controlled Labs' "Purple Wraath" contains. It tastes fine-not phenomenal, but not medicine. Easy enough to get used to. Unfortunately, most athletes have no ability to actually get an accurate gauge of how much a supplement is helping them. In addition, there are cheaper amino acid products on the market, without some of the clinically un-proven "extras" that Controlled Labs likes to toss in to make the unwary think that they can transform themselves into Lou Ferrigno overnight. These sticking points keep it down to 3-stars, though I do use and enjoy the product at this time.
