(More customer reviews)My sole issue with this pedometer is that the clip doesn't function well. The pedometer is constantly falling off my garments' waistband, regardless of the thickness of material. It's simply poorly designed. Last night the pedometer fell off while I was sitting in a movie theater -- I had to go back when I noticed it was gone (luckily, before we left the theater) and search for it. When I got home, I improvised a secondary clipping system, using a metal clip and safety pin, but this is cumbersome.
I haven't had problems with the pedometer resetting itself, even with the exposed faceplate. It takes a prolonged pressure to cause it to reset. However, for some reason each day as I reset the pedometer, it shifts modes from "miles" to "kilometers." I have to remember to reset it *twice* to keep it in mile mode.
Having said this, I've found this to be one of the most accurate pedometers I've ever owned. (I've had four or five.) If Sportline would address the problems with the clip, this would be a stellar pedometer.
