No adverse side affects that I could tell, only beneficial ones. I take it every day now. Works way better than aspirin, Tylenol or other over the counter "pain killers" I have tried.

(More customer reviews)I called Nature Made and inquired about their procedures to test their product for mercury. Their Fish oil is USP tested for purity and potency. There isn't any "mercury-free" fish oil, however, NM contains only .01 mcg / g of mercury. Very low level and certainly not toxic. I'm keeping my bottle of it and will take it confidently. FYI: they have a great website that contains all this information.

Well he scared me into trying these, and I found a huge difference, will never buy the others again. First off these are much purer and smaller. I FELT a difference. I take 2 every day. They help my hair nails skin and back. I have a bad back, so the vitamin D is a bonus. I even give 1 of these to my dog every day hidden in a piece of melted cheese because he has allergies, and I find these really help prevent symptoms and allergic reactions. Plus it gives him a smooth coat and bright clear eyes!

(More customer reviews)I've been taking various omega-3/fatty acid/fish oil supplements over the last couple of years which was why I was so shocked when I went to my doctor several months ago and she told me that my HDL's - the 'good' cholesterol - were VERY low. All I could do was exercise more and eat more fish.
I didn't.
I was a little nervous about getting my blood rechecked a couple of weeks ago given my failure to follow orders. The only change I had made was to switch to this supplement at the recommendation of a guy working at our local health food store.
While this is a little pricier than other supplements, in the long run it's actually cheaper because you're only taking one a day, instead of the dreaded 3/day. Who wants to take a handful of oil pills on top of your multivitamin and whatever other supplements you happen to be taking? Trust me, fewer is better, especially because it ups the chance that you'll actually take it.
Last week I got the results of my bloodwork. My HDL's actually SHOT UP. It was such a big jump that my doctor asked me what I had done differently. When I told her, she said, "Well, whatever supplements you're on, keep taking them." (And then she also suggested that I get back on the exercise regimen, which I have. Sort of.)
All things being equal, I have to attribute the change in my cholesterol to Mor-EPA. It was the only change to my diet between tests and it's why I'm recommending it to everyone I know.

(More customer reviews)Our doctor recommended we add DHA to our 5-year-old son's diet to bolster his immune system and fight allergies. We first purchased Nordic Naturals-DHA Junior Omega-3 Supplement in August 2009 and started giving it to our 7-year-old son as well.
Not only have we seen improvement in their immunity but we also witnessed them calming down a bit. We learned that DHA is important for proper growth and development of the brain, eyes, nervous system and cell membranes.
Each son takes four soft gels daily with food, according to the suggested use. The chewable soft gels have a strawberry flavor. Neither of our sons has mentioned a "fish" taste and they continue to take the soft gels without complaint.
We purchased this along with Buddy Bear Probiotic from Amazon and have since reordered both supplements. The only complaint is that this product is not available through Amazon's Subscribe & Save program. Rating: Five stars.

(More customer reviews)At the time I listened to Udo speak at our local health food market, I was having problems with anxiety, high blood pressure, etc. Much of what he said made sense to me, so I bought a bottle, and started using from 1 to 3 tablespoons a day. The amazing thing happened when I read about the "Budwig Diet" online, and started mixing this oil with cottage cheese. Within a couple days, my blood pressure went down to normal. It has stayed below ~115/70 most of the time since. Amazingly, I wasn't waking up with panic feelings in the middle of the night anymore. The echzema (sp?) on my fingers disappeared. And the most surprising thing, is my allergies have been almost zilch since starting the oil. I am also taking about a teaspoon of lemon flavored Carlson's cod liver oil every night, so that probably helps too. Now, my dose of Udo's is only half a tablespoon in cottage cheese a day. I use it as the starter of our daily smoothies. Feeling pretty good for over 50!

Coromega comes in little daily dose squeeze packets that are convenient for travel and that keep it fresh for a long time (unlike some brands that go rancid easily). I carry some in my purse and sometimes take them before a meal out when I'm hungry but have to wait to eat, since they contain 20 calories. Even on an empty stomach, they cause me no digestive upset at all and I love the flavor. The orange is my favorite and doesn't taste at all like fish, but has an orange-y creamsicle flavor. Coromega does contain eggs, so if you're allergic, you should look for other sources of fish oil.
